Just Have Hope

  Stuck Decision Who made up that word? Because I loathe it.  Time Why is it my mortal enemy? Does it ever stop? All decisions. Must be decided by a certain time.  I wish that wasn’t the case.  Pros and Cons. Everyone says to make a list. It just makes it worse.  My mind. I wish I could turn it off. So I don’t have to think.  Seer. Why can’t I have that ability? That would solve everything.  Procrastinate. Most people’s doom. Helpful… until later.  But no matter what.  Time will run out.  I still have to make a decision.

Because they change things. They push the human race forward." ~Rob Siltanen   I really can't argue with this statement. History has proven this quote true.  -People thought Susan B. Anthony was crazy for fighting for Women's rights.  -The Sons of Liberty rebelled against the British government.  -Joseph Smith felt like a misfit but brought upon a church destined to never fall again.  -Rosa Parks caused trouble by not giving up her seat.  All of these people helped change things and they pushed the human race forward. How grateful I am to them and what they did. They opened doors that didn't appear to be there and broke down walls that seemed too hard to push over. The world would not be the same without them.  Who else has changed the world for the better?

This quote struck home as I thought what our world and each of us are facing.  "Remember that you were chosen by the Father to come at this time because you have the power to face the challenges of this era." ~Ulisses Soares  I think that is amazing. We were chosen to come at this time because God knew we would have the power to face Covid-19. Reread the previous sentence again.  Doesn't that make you feel a lot better? You can do this!!! You have the power!!! And most importantly we don't have to do it alone. All of us are facing this virus together so each of us knows a little bit of how others are feeling.  Now, with that being said, let me clarify that just because God knew we would have the power to face the challenges of the era does not mean that our challenges will be easy. That is not what I am saying. Since Earth is a test and is designed to strengthen us, it makes sense that our challenges will not be easy. Notice the quote says to face our challenges not ...

Isn't it great? We've just been handed a brand new year!!! "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." ~Seneca  We just came from the year 2020, the year of challenges and hardship. The year that will live in infamy. We are now at the start of 2021. It can be everything we make it and more. I was excited for 2021 not just because we would end 2020 but because I would be given a new beginning. A chance to start over and make new memories.  Even though Covid is still here, we can make 2021 a new beginning and a blessing for all of us. I think after everything we have been through we needed a new start and now we have it.  Congratulations on making it through 2020. But can we make it through 2021? I don't know, but only time will tell. 😊 How will you start off 2021?
