Just Have Hope

 "Sad things happen. They do. But we don't need to live sad forever." ~Mattie Stepanek Just like the quote says, sad things happen. But we can't be sad forever. What life would that be? Please find a way to be happy.  I am moving to Fayetteville. It is not a happy thing, at least not for me, however, I know I cannot be sad about it forever. In fact, at some point, I will actually have to move there meaning I will have to accept it.  I feel like if I hold on to the happy things, then when sad things happen I can remind myself of the good times. Maybe then the situation will seem less sad.  This life isn't easy but I promise that we can find joy even in the hard times. Don't give up. There is a particular hill in my neighborhood that is a pain to climb, especially with a backpack. However, I have come to love this hill because of what it represents to me.  Life is a journey, a path we must follow.  " Nothing is IMPOSSIBLE; the word itself says, "I'm Possible".   -Audrey Hepburn I didn't realize until reading this quote that Im possible had the word possible in it. Every time I hear the word impossible I think of the meaning: not able to occur, exist, or be done.  Life is hard and many times there are many things that do seem impossible.  Examples of Impossible Things: (Courtesy of Google) -Flying without the help of an invention of some sort.   -Digging to the center of the earth.  -Going into the past or the future.  -Creating a force field.  Even if I can't do these things I know that with God nothing is impossible. He has ways of doing things we may not even be able to comprehend. There is always a way when it comes to God.  Things will get rough, and there will be times when things will seem impossible. These past few months have been hard. Sometimes we wonder why certain things have to happen. Why me? But it is important to realize that things happen for a reason and we have to trust that things will work out. I promise they will. There is a plan for you, greater than you could ever imagine. I have had to remind myself of this all the time lately.   This quote reminds me why trials are so hard.  "Sometimes you have to get knocked down lower than you have been, to stand up taller than you ever were." -Unknown I hope we will remember that if we stay positive our trials and challenges will strengthen us and make us even better. It's hard to be positive in a world that is so negative but look for the light. It's always there. Remember you are never alone, there is a God in heaven who loves you, and there are always people who will be willing to help you.
