Love Isn't What Hurt You

 "I have to remember it is not love that has hurt me; but someone who could not love me in the right way." ~R. YS Perez I really like this quote a lot. I feel like in books and TV shows, sometimes in real life, people claim they are done with love because they have been hurt. They don't want to risk getting their heart broken again because love has hurt them. But it is really love that broke your heart or the person you fell for? It can be tempting to give up on love. To just say it's not worth it. Love has failed me. Love hasn't failed you. Love will always exist. It creeps in on us and suddenly we find the person across the room has caught our eye. The question is not does love occur but does love last? And that has everything to do with the person we fall in love with.  I want to define what I believe this quote means by "love me in the right way."  -This means that the circumstances are allowing a relationship.  -The relationship is healthy, balanced...
