Just Have Hope

 Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! "God knows what is best for us and he gives us the best at the right time. So just have trust and faith in God." ~Ekta Umaraniya I was not super excited about moving to Fayetteville as you may already know. I was sad to leave everything I had behind, especially my friends. I still miss them. My seminary teacher wanted us to write letters to people in four categories: school, church, teachers/school, friends, and family. He wanted us to put five people in each category.  As I started to fill this chart out I had more than five names for all of the categories and most of them were people from Fayetteville. It's been one hundred and fourteen days since my family moved to Fayetteville and already I have been able to meet so many people. In fact, I have made so many more friends than I thought I would. In total, I have made about 9 or so friends. I had a friend group of three people and two other friends that I hung out with right before moving ...

"Trust is the easiest thing in the world to lose, and the hardest thing in the world to get back." ~R. Williams This quote is so true. Some people walk a very thin line when it comes to trust. Trust is a very hard and complicated thing. Trust can lead to good things. So many good things. Freedom. Rewards. Privileges. But as soon as you mess that up... all of those things are gone in an instant. It can take a long time to get things like that back.    Trust is something you have to work at. You have to constantly make decisions that prove you are trustworthy. Sometimes that can be hard to do. I have found that the worst trust to lose of anyone is my parents. I do not like to disappoint them, especially when it comes to trust. Sometimes I feel like trust can be a risk. You risk losing trust with someone. Possibly leading to a ruined relationship and other bad results. That's why we must be careful about who we decide to trust.  It is vitally important now more than ever tha...

 Happy Halloween everyone!!!  A year ago in Seminary, my teacher posted this quote about Halloween. I think it is a very great take on what Halloween can really be about. I enjoy having the spirit of the lord as my constant companion. I hope for all of you that the spirit will be the only ghost who stays. I hope each of us will be able to spend time with friends and family during this special time of year. I also challenge you to serve someone this Halloween.
