We Not Me

I know I couldn't have come this far without the help I have received in my life.  During the gas shortage, I realized something. Gas could have not been as big of a shortage if people had been more considerate of others. Who needs gas more? The guy with 3/4 of a tank or the female who only has 20 miles left.  There were many people who decided to get gas for themselves when they already had plenty of it, leaving zero gas for the people who actually needed it. Our van ended up being one of the lucky vehicles that only had thirty to forty miles left when all gas stations ran out. We ended up having to cancel plans and stay at home for two days in order to save gas.  I am not saying that getting gas when you had 1/2 a tank during the gas shortage was very unkind of you but wha...

Time Flies

 "It's pretty scary to know how quickly time flies." ~James Wan A year ago, today, I stepped through the doors of Riverwood Middle School never to come in person again. It was Friday the 13th, the worst luck for sure. Little did I know how drastically my life would change. Time flies and it's definitely scary to see how fast it goes. I felt like I wasn't actively doing as many things (while being stuck at home) so in turn it felt like not a lot of time had passed. Turns out that year went faster than any other.  I have learned a lot in a year. My faith has grown, my friendships have been strengthened, I've grown closer to my family, and I learned new concepts and tasks. A lot can occur in just one year.
